Quasar, a global B2B medical device manufacturer is looking to hire a Mechanical Engineer who will join our Engineering department at Dongguan, China.  This position will report to the Mechanical Expert.

The ideal candidate is expected to work with NPI engineer & Manufacturing engineer to provide technical support on new components’ design / development. Working together with RFQ Engineer to provide accurate technical costing and building samples for new projects.

Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive mechanical analysis for the drawing from customer and supplier and giving solution at NPI stage.
  • Support RFQ Engineer for mechanical and packaging parts design analysis.
  • Support new technical capabilities samples making.
  • Following up the progress of tooling build/modification through sample approval process.
  • Providing solution for mechanical assembly issue for production at NPI/MP stage.
  • Providing mechanical drawings/Spec for tailed-made parts if necessary.
  • Providing packaging design for new product and CIP project.
  • Participate in supplier’s evaluation.
  • Participating in the related meeting of NPI and implementing the final decisions made.

 

Requirements
  • College degree or above. Major in Macromolecule Material or Mechanical/Mold.
  • More than 3 years working experiences in precision injection field and package design.
  • Familiar with characteristics of medical materials such as PE, PVC, PS, ABS, PC, PP, PTFE, PA, POM, ABS, PP, PC, PBT etc.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks/Pro-E, and MS office.
  • Knowledge of ISO & FDA compliance is an advantage.
